Groggos Real Ale - 1st Attempt

Ingredients

1 can of Coopers Real Ale
300g cracked Crystal Grain
800g Golden Syrup
Morgans Larger Yeast x 12g


7 liters of water

Process

Boil the water and get temp to 63 Celsius
Place beer kit contents , Golden Syrup into the boiling water
Agitate until all dissolved into water
Place Cracked Crystal Grain into a Mesh Bag and put into the water .
Keep temp at 63 Celsius for 60 minutes

Place contents into a Sterilized Fermenter fill to 22 liters and agitate brew with Sterilized Spoon
Measure Your Gravity and record
Then add TheLarger Yeast agitate again to mix yeast into the brew close Fermenter and add Sterilized
Air Lock

Then Place Fermenter in the Garage away from any sunlight . Let the yeast do its magic

after fermentation complete the gravity measurements only make the brew a Lower level of Strength brew around 4.4%

OG : 1.036
FG : 1.006

that gives you ; 3.94%. so .5% add for secondary fermentation in Bottle = 4.44%

The aroma was spot on for what I was trying to achieve ( from memory is smells right)
the color is a dark amber like beer should look :D

The end result is impressive
